tcL error in the LG washing machine

If you see a tcL error on the display of the LG washing machine, accompanied by an inability to start the program. Usually, the unit does not allow you to select parameters but immediately knocks out this code. Resetting it by simply pressing the buttons does not work, and there is no way to start the wash.

The tcL error is not a breakdown but an informational message sent by the washing machine. It stands for TUB CLEAN or drum cleaning - you need to start this mode. All modern models of washing machines have this option. Many switch to it on their own after 30 washes.

How to start cleaning

With this mode, fluff, hair, and other small objects that pollute the machine has qualitatively removed from the drum. In addition, when cleaning, a lot of water has poured into the washer, and the drum rotates at maximum speed.

In FH models, cleaning starts automatically. For the rest, you need the following:

• Check that there is no laundry in the machine,
• Press and hold the Drum Clean button or the two keys marked,

Cleaning lasts about 1.5 hours. You can also reset the code by pressing the power button after it appears, and after 5 minutes, start washing again. If this does not help, restart the unit - unplug it, let it stand for 10-15 minutes, and turn it on again.
