F12 error in siemens washing machine

If error F 12 appears on the display of the siemens electronic washing machine, this is accompanied by the fact that the selected program does not start and does not proceed to the water intake stage. It may be that the liquid is poured, but unevenly, in jerks, and soon the cycle stops, the unit freezes. There is no reaction to pressing the buttons, switching to spin or rinse. Only the fault code is on.

Error F 12 means that there is no communication between the electronic controller and the display module. It is the latter that determines that not everything is in order since it does not receive a signal from the control board. In most cases, this is a serious breakdown that requires prompt professional intervention.

Can I reset myself?

If an electronic washer shows a breakdown code, this does not mean that it is faulty. When this happens for the first time, it may just be a control failure. In our houses and apartments, this is a common phenomenon, because the main reason that causes it is voltage drops in the network.

A failure of the control board or display module is eliminated by rebooting the machine. This must be done before calling the mechanic. It is necessary to disconnect the device from the network and let it stand for 10-15 minutes. Then turn it on again.

If the error remains, it is possible that the contacts in the chain connecting the controller and the display module have gone. This sometimes happens due to strong vibrations during washing. Such incorrectness is eliminated by tightening the contacts.
