F1 error in Gorenje washing machine

When the F1 code is displayed on the electronic display of the Gorenje washing machine, it stops working normally and heats the water. The machine washes clothes in very hot or very cold water. Most often, in this case, further operation of the washing machine is impossible, and an error code is lit on the display.

Some models continue to wash in cold water, so you can determine the malfunction by the condition of the laundry. It remains dirty and gray. Self-troubleshooting

The water temperature sensor or thermistor breaks very rarely. Most often, the contacts in the electrical wiring are broken or the locking tab breaks, so the contact breaks and data is not transmitted. Use a multimeter to check if the sensor is working. The resistance at room temperature at the temperature sensor of the Gorenje washing machine is approximately 22 kOhm.

• Inspect the electrical circuit of the water temperature sensor for breaks and oxidized contacts. Burnt sections of the circuit must be replaced with new wires, oxidized, or disconnected contacts should be cleaned and resoldered.
• If the temperature sensor is broken, it must be replaced with a new one.
